A letter from Christian Pälchen, the founder of Change through Education:

"How much better to get wisdom, than gold, to get insight rather than silver." Proverbs 16:16

This statement rings true for me and is an inspiration for my life.

As a young man, I studied Social Welfare at the Evangelical University of Applied Sciences in Hannover, Germany. During my studies, I began to comprehend how important it is that all people receive an education and acquire the ability to read and understand that which they have read. This ability brings you freedom and opens doors for your life. It helps to bring change and if that were to happen all around the world, society will be better for it.

As a charity, our desire and passion is to help schools worldwide in their founding process and in the running of their school. For this we believe that there needs to be cooperation, sharing of wisdom, insight and resources from those who have been through a similar process or share knowledge in the field of education and business. Apart from that goal, our aim is to connect Christian professionals to act as consultants worldwide with various Christian NGOs, so that wisdom, insight and knowledge is directed into areas where it is needed. Like Paul wrote in Romans 12:4-5: "For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another."

I am an optimist and believe that we, you and I, can help many people with God's help.
